Data we process

We process only data needed to provide and protect EmaLinks.

• Account and profile data: name, email, country, language and optional profile details.
• Saved links, groups, spaces, comments, reactions and content you choose to share.
• Security data such as session identifiers, IP address, device information and security events.
• Messages submitted through contact, support and illegal-content reporting forms.

Purposes and legal bases

Account and service data are processed to perform the service contract. Security, fraud prevention and product reliability are based on our legitimate interests. Legal requests are processed to comply with applicable law. Optional marketing will require a separate choice.

Recipients and transfers

Data may be processed by carefully selected hosting, email-delivery and authentication providers. Google processes data only when Google sign-in is used. Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, we use an applicable adequacy decision or contractual safeguards. EmaLinks currently does not use advertising cookies.

Retention

Account content is retained while the account exists. Deleted-account data are removed unless retention is required by law or necessary to resolve a dispute. Expired authentication tokens and rate-limit records are short-lived. Support and security records are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for their purpose.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to certain processing. EmaLinks also provides profile editing, export and account deletion directly in the application. Contact us at info@emasoft.sk. You may also lodge a complaint with the Slovak Data Protection Authority.
